Live Services on Christmas Eve
Join us at Fries for a unique Christmas Eve Service in two parts; come for one (indoors or outdoors) or stay for both.
This year’s Christmas Eve service of Word & Music will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the sanctuary and will include traditional readings from Scripture and special music by the choir and guest instrumentalists. All participants are required to wear a mask and there will be no congregational singing inside the sanctuary. In the Spirit of the season, we will take an offering that will be shared equally between Sunnyside Ministry of the Moravian Church and Crisis Control Ministry which serves our immediate community.
Participants will either proceed from the sanctuary or gather outside the church for a 7:00 p.m. service of Candlelight & Carols. Dieners will hand out and light candles. Single-pack lovefeast buns will also be distributed. All who have gathered for worship will be encouraged to join the choir in singing Christmas Carols as they are played by our band. We are doing our best to ensure that Covid neither restricts our worship nor threatens the health of our congregation and friends. Pray for the services, join us, and expect a blessing.
Due to COVID, seating will be limited. The inside service of Word and Music will be first-come, first-seated. Doors to the sanctuary will be open at 5:00 p.m. Overflow seating will be available in the fellowship hall and the service will be streamed live from the sanctuary.
