Worship in November

O come, let us sing to the Lord;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
O come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! Psalm 95

There is nothing that we do as Christians that is more important than worship. We are blessed to be able to offer to God our worship and praise in response to the love that we have received. And at Fries Memorial Moravian, we do worship very well. The month of November is filled with opportunities for us to worship.

~November 3: we will celebrate All Saints Day as we remember all those who have    influenced our lives and journey as Christians.
~November 10: we will celebrate Holy Communion in recognition of Christ as the Chief Elder of the Moravian Church.
~November 17: we will offer our Stewardship to God as we pledge the best of our time, talent, and treasure to the work of the church.
~November 24: we will have 2 separate opportunities to worship. At our 11:00 service we will celebrate the Reign of Christ. And at 7:00, we will join together with our families and friends for our Thanksgiving Lovefeast.

These services will feature our Children and Adult Choirs, our Church Band, our Dieners, and Ushers and all of those who work hard to make worship at Fries so special and meaningful.

This month is a wonderful opportunity for us to fill our church in worship. Make a special effort to invite your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc to join us as we offer to God our worship and praise!

Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.
In a loud voice they were saying:
“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!” Revelation 5
